Foresting Tech Summit 2018
I was very fortunate to be at the Forest Tech Summit at the Dynasty Hall of Shilla Hotel in Seoul on June 7th. It was the first big launch event by Foresting who have gotten a lot of attention from the Korean public. This Blockchain-based SNS platform offers creators and users to earn money through content creation. Therefore, this will be done through a fair value distribution system.
The event featured lectures and panel discussions by experts from both Korea and abroad. In addition, Foresting brought together leaders in the Blockchain industry. Furthermore, the event was attended by over 550 people. All who are very interested in the next generation SNS blockchain platform. The were many Blockchain investors, developers, and entrepreneurs who were eager to learn more about Foresting.
The Singapore-based Foresting HQ gave presentations and lectures on the future of their Blockchain SNS platform. Daniel Eom the CEO of Foresting gave deep insight into their technology and the business model of Foresting.
Foresting Global Advisors Arrive in Seoul
There was even a panel discussion with two of Foresting’s advisors and myself. Brian Dixon the COO of Capital Innovators and Richard Klatt, the vice president of partnerships at Indorse flew into Seoul for this event. They discussed the future changes in Blockchain technologies in not only Social Media but also in Finance.

The last lecture was a keynote speaker, Kim Yong Tae, director of Kim Yong Tae Institute, gave a lecture on the topic of the future of the Blockchain.
The event had a great design and even offered guests the chance to make their own perfume. In addition, there was an ending toast and a 5 course dinner. Networking continued throughout the night.
“This event will create value for the new SNS service based on the Blockchain and share the business model,” said co-organizer Decent Lee Hong Young-sun. “It will be a valuable opportunity to meet new projects that have not been introduced yet.”
