Let’s Meet-up Welcomes Contentos to Korea

The Decentralized Global Content Ecosystem

Contentos is looking to create a decentralized global content ecosystem.  Therefore it is no surprise why they are interested in the Korean market.  Korea has not only embraced cryptocurrency but also content creation.  If you take a look at Steemit, you will find a large community of Korean content creators.  Co-Founder, Mick Tsai spoke at Let’s Meet-up! & Blockchain token economy in Seoul which took place October 5th at the Pentarium Hotel.

Contentos is looking to reinvent the global content value system.  “Contentos” in Spanish means happiness and they are looking to bring happiness to global creators through their COS token.

Everyone in Korea, uses at least Instagram, Facebook, or Youtube.  However, the main problem is that they become so centralized that they now control everything.  They not only control what the users see but the revenue generated from these platforms.

Youtube recently stopped paying revenue shares for anyone who has under 100,000 fans.  This means that to even start making a living on Youtube you need to establish a base of at least 100,000 followers which will take time and money.  Facebook had their famous privacy data issue.  There has to be a way to fix this centralized issue.

Contentos is looking to use Blockchain technology to reinvent the whole ecosystem.  Their vision is to create the biggest decentralized global ecosystem for digital content, where content can be freely produced, distributed, and transacted, and where the value and rights will be returned to creators and contributors.

Two Unique Blockchain Designs for the Content Industry

The company is building blockchain that is specific for the content industry.  There are focusing all the performance such as TPS and the resource balancing.  The second part is their smart contract template which will be useful for global content creators who might not have the technical skills to create a smart contract.

Contentos Competitive Advantage

They have a strong network of global content creators.  For the past two years, they have worked with global creators to create a live streaming app called “LiveMe“.  Now they have connections with over 1 million global creators.

ContentosAlso Contentos has already integrated everything with three existing products.  Therefore Contentos is not building something new with no users, instead, they are starting with three existing products such as LiveMe,  Cheez (social media video app), and PhotoGrid (photo editing tool).

This means they will have over 60 million monthly active users worldwide.  Contentos will build a content Blockchain on top of these three products.  They will allow these products to integrate the COS Token.

On their website, users can log in and connect and see all the COS tokens you have earned from the different products.  From here you can transfer your token the website to your ether wallet.  Or later you will be able to transfer the tokens to your crypto exchange and sell it on the crypto exchange.

Finally, Contentos will ask their creators worldwide to build videos teaching people what tokens are and what Blockchain does.  This will help educate massive amounts of users, so they can adopt blockchain technologies.  Contentos will act as the bridge to bring Blockchain to the masses.
