Chinese IoT Startup eYenurse has created the eYenurse smartpen for eye relief, eyelidless, and short sight prevention. The retail price of the smartpen is $80. It can be used as an eye tester, has a smart alert system, and a heater.
The Smart eye-care pen can record the muscles around your eye. The smartpen has a graph sensor at the end that can record the data which can then be uploaded on to the eYenurse app.
Here is how it works
Users download the eYenurse app and create their profile. They will need to enter their gender, age, the amount of time they use their mobile and other e-products. Then the app will be able to analyze the user’s eye health condition. If the user is tired the app will send out an alert telling the user to use the smartpen. There are many tutorials on the app of how to use the eye-care pen. There are training videos as well as written content.
The smart eye-care pen activates eye cells by biological microcurrents, hot compressions, and intelligent vibrations. This helps relax the eye muscles which in turn gets rid of fatigue quickly and helps prevent short-sightedness.

How Long Does it Take?The whole process only takes 3 minutes. In three minutes the smartpen will send sub-high pulse amplitude 8000 times. Also, it will hot compress your eyes at 40 degrees Celsius. The eYeNurse app can check to see if your eyes are tired in just 3 seconds. Their app indexes all the data collected. Therefore they are able to get an estimated index of tiredness and electromyography.
This product is not a one time use. It should be used on a regular basis in order to prevent negative eye health.
