2018 Meet Taipei Startup Festival
Startup Radar will be going to the 2018 Meet Taipei Startup Festival on November 14th through the 17th. The event will take place at the Taipei Expo Dome. We will go there not just to cover the Korean startups that will be presenting there but to cover the Taipei startup ecosystem and see all the latest innovation in the startup scene.

The event is supported by Business Next, the most influential tech media in Taipei and the startup community “Meet”. Taiwan is considered to be the heart of Asia, they have easy access to China, Japan, and other major Asian markets. They are attracting a lot of tech talent into Taiwan, one of the main reasons being that the cost of standard living is half that of the United States. As far as foreign talent immigration regulations the Taiwanese government is very supportive. They have a strong manufacturing network home to tech giants such as Asus, Acer, HTC, and Foxconn.
