Samsung Debuts
Startup Radar will be going to CES 2018 in Las Vegas! We are very excited to see what Samsung will be debuting at the conference.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A8+
This will most likely have the same design and user experience as Samsung Galaxy S8. They should have the same Infinity Display and should be waterproof. However, will they still have the popular dual selfie camera setup? Most likely yes. Rumor is that the dual camera sensor will allow users the option to have their background blurred. The smartphone will come with Samsung Pay and be able to support the Samsung Gear VR headset. You can get the Samsung Galaxy A8 and A8+ in Blue, Black, Gold, and Silver.
“With the release of the Galaxy A8(2018) and A8+(2018), we’re bringing our customers’ favorite features from our flagship smartphones, such as the Infinity Display and our first Dual Front Camera with Live Focus, to our Galaxy A series, which is already known for its premium design,” said Junho Park, Vice President of Global Product Planning – Mobile Communications Business, Samsung Electronics
The Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+
This will be Samsung’s most powerful smartphone of all time. However, the design of the phone will much much like the Galaxy S8. What will be different will be the fingerprint sensor that will be under the camera on the rear side. Since the Galaxy S8 had some of the best screens in the mobile industry it seems Samsung didn’t want to fix something that wasn’t broken. We are guessing they are waiting for screen upgrades for the Galaxy S10 and for the Galaxy S9 they solely seemed to have focused on the smartphone’s performance which could be a good thing.
The Notebook 9 Pen
The Pen will be 13.3 inches and can be used on laptops as well as tablets. The Pen will have a durable lightweight shell (light silver or white) and weighs slightly over 2 pounds. It will use a quad-core 8th generation Intel Core i7 Processor with up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM.
