Connector is a monthly event put together by Jobfindr, a job and talent search platform providing employment opportunities for foreign nationals across Asia. In addition, Jobfindr has been part of the 1st batch of Seoul Global Startup Center’s incubation program as well as the In2Korea Program, having connected hundreds of students and job seekers to global companies and startups in Korea.

Connector is a non-profit monthly networking event that brings together international students and local or global companies.  Furthermore, they are able to share information, discuss opportunities, and connect.

Connector aims to build a community between talented students and graduates and companies with global aspirations through informative lectures, highlighted opportunities, and a great networking environment.

The event always features an accomplished guest who shares great insights into business and entrepreneurship with the attendants.

Connector was first held in April at WeWork Euljiro and has since featured some of the most inspiring entrepreneurs in Korea.

September Connector with Dot Incorporation

September 2018’s Connector will be held at WeWork Yeouido Station on Tuesday, September 18 from 6-9 pm. In addition, this edition will focus on the story of Dot Incorporation, a Seoul based Company that produced Dot Watch, the the first smartwatch that displays information for 285 million visually impaired people across the world.

Dot Watch utilizes cutting-edge electro-dynamic cells to seamlessly relay information to its users. As a game changer for solving problems for visually-impaired persons, it has continuously gained worldwide recognition and achieved commercial success for its innovation and inclusive design thinking.

Dot Watch is presently used by prominent personalities like Stevie Wonder, thanks to the impressive technology and accessibility.

Connector June will be held at Google Campus Seoul on Friday, June 22nd, 2018 from 7-9:30 pm. In addition, this month’s edition will feature Luke Nolan, Founder, and CEO of STUDENT.COM, a disruptive entrepreneur. Student.com is the largest global marketplace for students accommodation. Furthermore, it is being used in over 400 cities worldwide.
