Connector is a monthly event put together by Jobfindr, a job and talent search platform providing employment opportunities for foreign nationals across Asia. In addition, Jobfindr has been part of the 1st batch of Seoul Global Startup Center’s incubation program as well as the In2Korea Program, having connected hundreds of students and job seekers to global companies and startups in Korea.
And, hosting events is one of the company’s successful services. Therefore, apart from being a job posting platform, it organizes events such as online job fair and recently, Connector. Connector is a non-profit monthly networking event that brings together international students and local or global companies. Furthermore, they are able to share information, discuss opportunities, and connect.
Connector aims to build a community between talented students and graduates and companies with global aspirations through informative lectures, highlighted opportunities, and a great networking environment.
The event always features an accomplished guest who shares great insights into business and entrepreneurship with the attendants.
Connector was first held in April at WeWork Euljiro. The event featured Sinan Öztürk, President of Kervan Group, the largest Turkish restaurant chain in Korea.
Luke Nolan, CEO at Student.com
Connector June will be held at Google Campus Seoul on Friday, June 22nd, 2018 from 7-9:30 pm. In addition, this month’s edition will feature Luke Nolan, Founder, and CEO of STUDENT.COM, a disruptive entrepreneur. Student.com is the largest global marketplace for students accommodation. Furthermore, it is being used in over 400 cities worldwide.
Luke will be sharing his journey as a founder and network with the numerous participants. Therefore, you don’t want to miss out on this. Watch this space for the subsequent editions.
