Vue Smart Glasses: The Future of Eyewear

Startup Vue Smart Glasses has successfully integrated tech into eyewear in a way that appeals to the masses.  Smart glasses are usually too bulky and are generally not very cool.  Vue has created a clean and stylish eyewear for the masses.

Wearable technology is a $140 billion dollar industry.  There is a golden opportunity in this market.  People are looking for a stylish and comfortable eyewear that is connected.

What can you do with Vue?

Wearers will be able to access Siri or Google Now just by speaking.  Furthermore, you will be able to answer calls by just tapping on your eyeglasses.  You will also be able to track your steps, calories, and the distance traveled with its embedded accelerometer tracker.  Finally, you will be able to stream music via bone conduction speakers so you will never have to carry around earphones/headphones.

Vue Mobile App

With Vue’s mobile app you will be able to track your fitness with charts and graphs.  The app will also be able to locate your smart glasses if you happen to misplace them.  The app can be found on iOS and Android.

Early Success

Vue has already been able to raise over $2 million on Kickstarter and has already been covered by Forbes, The Verge, Business Insider, and Wareable just to name a few.  Vue is already profitable!  The price of Vue is around $300 but that price point will go down as Vue gets more orders and starts to mass produce.  They have been able to target the young consumers who are eager to become digital natives and pioneers.

The Future of Wearables

The youth today want and expect embedded technology.  They are the target for brands because they will hold all the purchasing power in the next decade.  They want to be connected to the brand in a way that is innovative and tech related.  Vue is currently working on incorporating AR+Camera technology for their Vue 2 (V2).
