Foresting, which was selected for the IT merit award, is a company providing SNS platform based on blockchain technology. In addition they have already gotten a lot of attention in the SNS industry in Korea. Korea has been very vocal in their demand to have a Steemit platform to call their own.
“I am very pleased to be selected as a ‘2018 INAK Social Contribution Award’ IT achievement target, and the core value of FORESTING is ‘to work four hours a day, communicate with the world, and manage my life’ And I will do my best to contribute to society. ” Said Daniel Eom.
Foresting wants to create an SNS ecosystem that allows content creators to be able to live their lives while also getting economic rewards. Therefore, their goals are for content creators to work only four hours a day through Foresting. Therefore, they will be able to have a lot more free time. That is one of the main issues in Korea. Many Korean workers work long past their working hours. They sacrifice their time for their company.
