The Korean startup ecosystem just got some big news!  500v2 the main organizers of Startup Festival 2017 has signed an MOU with Tech in Asia to launch Tech in Asia Seoul 2018.  500v2, an advertising agency alliance group, has been looking to bring more global events to Seoul.  Therefore this MOU will be for an exclusive partnership where 500v2 will lead to the Tech in Asia conference license for Korea.  Furthermore, this agreement will help Korean startups expand into the global market.

Global Tech Startup Conference

Tech in Asia Singapore 2018 will be bringing over 250 promising startups and over 5,000 attendees from all over the world to Singapore in May.  Tech in Asia is a media, events, and jobs platform.  Therefore, their mission is to build and serve Asia’s tech and startup community.  They started doing events in 2012 to build and serve the region’s tech communities.  In addition, they are not only present in Singapore, but also in Tokyo and Jakarta.  Now Tech in Asia is coming to Seoul!

500v2 launched their very first global conference called Startup Festival 2017 in late November.  The event brought speakers, investors, media, and startups from all around the world to Seoul for this 3-day event.  In addition, they were able to make over 400 matches with investors, startups, and the media.  The Korean government played a major role in launching Startup Festival 2017 in order to help Korean startups get more exposure to the global market.
